I feel your pain!!!!!!!!

My head is at RS Machines getting repaired and will be ready this wednesday. Not for sure if you would want to ship it all the way to the west coast. Depending on your budget it may be wise just to get another head.

Good luck, it can be repaired.

why not just get another head........why do you NEED that head to be repaired?........it would probably cost you quite a bit to repair it over buying another used one.

It doesn't really look like you broke much. It'd be easier to tell if you cleaned it. Replace the valve, smooth out the rough edges, and roll.

You will be better off in the long run to get you another head. I would also talk to the guys who did the head work and find out what cause the valve to break off, did you over REV the motor???? ALso you biggest issue now is your sealing surface on the head is FU@@.... you will have to have it shaved buy how much im not sure and that will raise you compression and throw off your timing... Save you self time and money and get another head..

i'm not a fan of DHR. not anything against Dale, but i used to talk to one of his boys now and then and he was a turd. not to mention i've never read anything good about anything done by them, and they way overrate their stuff. come on, a +30whp intake manifold? yeah, *maybe* on a race engine vs. a stock manifold.

I can't really tell by the pics but from what I can see the head looks repairable, and doesn't need a lot milling..Less than 500 bucks, and done right...good luck!

well lets put it this way, i spent $1200 on the head, i can spend another 400-500 to fix it and sell it for 1100-1300 and get some of my money back or use it next year since the head i got now is stock..
