*Testing Waters* Possibly full car or partingout 97 civic ex
The story goes as follows. I found a 97 Civic EX 104,000 miles NOTHING wrong with it but a busted passenger window. Guy wants next to niothing for it here in PA. So at first I was so sceptical so looked at it from everyangle including buying a carfax report (which i payed for the month free so if anyone needs anything pm the vins). Anyway everything is 100% clean with the car except. It has a salvage title. So im picking the car up tomorrow and im going to see what i can do about the title.
So why this thread. If i can not get the title straightened out I have no use this car AT ALL. So IF i cant get it straight Im selling either the car as a whole or if no one is interested im parting the whole thing out. So if people would be interested in anything let me know.
97 Civic EX 104,000 miles (starts on first turn)
Auto trans (drives beutifully)
Full interior and ext.
Everything is stock on the car
If people are interested ill be getting ALOT of pics.

Where in PA are you located? I never heard of Brogue.
I'd like to pick up the intake and exhaust manifolds if you're close to Pittsburgh PA. Possibly the power window equipment as well.

Brogue is about 20 minutes south of York (city) in York county. Pitt is about 4 hours away. If i part out i have a friend whom picks up his kid in ohio once a month im sure hed meet up with you somewhere.

yeah, that might work. When do you think you'll know if you're going to be parting it out or not?

Cool. Registering a salvage title vehicle in PA is a fairly easy process. Basically, you fix everything on the car that needs fixed, and get the car inspected and emissions tested. Take pictures of the car fixed, and send the pictures, and a copy of the inspection/emmision stickers (I think a picture will do), and the salvage title to the State (through a form that you can get at a notary that does a lot of car titling work), and then the State will issue a Rebuilt title for the car.
