Default How do to repair keyholes?

The keyhole is just tored apart so I need to replace it. I assume I will need to go through the door panel. Do I need to get a new door handle section?

If I replace the keyhole will I need to get new keys....im very confused right now.

Any suggestions? I dont want to shave it either.

After you take the interior door panel off, there should be two bolts holding the inner side of the door lock/handle. You can either replace the entire thing or just the keylock. If you do replace with another keylock, you'll need the corresponding key(s) for it as well.

No, using two different keys is something done at your own discretion. If it's just that driver door, you can choose to replace just that key hole, find out if a keyhole replacement can be shaved to the spec of your current key. If not, and you want to save money, just have the driver door done and a use the same key you've always used for the ignition.

you can change just keyholes and transfer over your cylinder in the new one. YOu can retain the use of your old key
