interior warning sound always on argh help!
Ok, so my interior warning sound thingy (I'm sure theres an offical name for it) doesn't stop because I put new seats in and they dont have the wire hookups underneath so the car doenst know when the seatbelts in. Does anyone know how to stop it? Either attaching a couple wires together from the connector from the seat or maybe where to cut the noise? I'd really appreciate it, thanks!! My cars a 1990 civic EX 4 door
i believe the noise is inside your rear view mirror. Just take off the plastic piece under the mirror and you should see the wires there and just disconnect the plug.
theres two different speakers for the noises. the seat one is under the mirror in the thing that has the seatbelt warning lights, theres also one in the back of the fusebox that comes on with the doors open.

no thats only for hatchs.
the sound is coming from the seatbelt ECU mounted behind the radio. between the center console and the firewall.
i just unpluged the ecu. that will stop the beeping and the light flashing on the dash.
