1 METRIC ton = 2200lbs
1 IMPERIAL ton = 2000lbs
Since he is from the States and they measure in Imperial units its 4000lbs
I say BS, 2 tons is a large amount, it would be up around your feet and everything, you would be half burried in the stuff.
YES a motor will fit!. Just pull out your trunk cover thing.

lol...that's what i love about the EF guys/gals. We're all purpose. No multiple vehicles or any of that bullshit. Our daily driver IS our project car that we actually drive in to pick up the "project" parts.

How did it work, because I'm hoping I don't have to do an auto-LS swap in my 4dr to tow my 91 back home. (2400 miles)

our 4-door civic has a hitch but only because we use it for a bike rack. The hitch was homemade because we knew we were never going to tow a trailer with the car (the smallest trailer we got is a car trailer that probably weighs 1,000 pounds).
I have seen pictures of ITR's with a trailer behind them though full of stuff. I'd never do it but people do.
