Solenoid itself is the same. If you need to change the housing the USDM and JDM housings are different for the VTEC parts. JDM does not have VTEC pressure switch like USDM. You can drill and tap the JDM housing but it is kinda a pain..

Read my full post before telling me i am wrong I said solenoid is the same just housing is different. IE plate that mounts vtec solenoid and press. switch to the head... Didn't say solenoid was different just mount...

Let me add to your mental image.. Mary Hart riding shotgun, playing with the radio and talking loudly in her Cosmo Kramer-seizure-inducing voice

..in an ITR, to keep it relevant..

They are interchangable. You also have options for the wiring. All thats needed is the vtec solenoid wired up... the pressure switch (not on jdm setup) can be ignored. You can run a jumper between the 2 vtec wires at the ecu and it'll work perfectly fine. Or you can just swap the solenoid between the 2 bases.

Please realize that there is a no bumping policy in the ITR forum (see stickies, etc.).
Good luck with your VTEC problems. Can this be locked now?
