FS NorCal: Clean 1990 CRX DX

FS NorCal: Clean 1990 CRX DX
I gotta 1990 white Honda CRX DX...it's got aftermarket sunroof (done by the original owner). I am the 2nd owner, only drive the car to school and back. EVERYTHING is stock, comes with bronze VX rims with 90% tread left! Also seats were torn so I replaced them with CRX Si seats. Clean title, clean body, minor small dings here and there but overall very nice for a 1990. The interior is also pretty clean. Car has 259k miles, but still runs like a champ. Like I said before, I bought the car from the original owner (an old lady), and I only use it for commuting to school. Looking for around $2000 for it. Let me know!

Dang dude, if only you had posted this a week ago when I was looking for a local selling a car. When I get paid on 15-16 May I'll check and see if your car is still FS. Tomorrow though, I'm gonna check with my bank and see about doing a signature loan or car loan for $2K. If I'm lucky they'll approve me and I can buy your car right away, if not I'll have to save up money.
BTW If you keep the Bronze VX rims, and I use my own rims, would you be willing to drop the price a little? or do you want to sell the rims with the car? I'll let you know tomorrow (Monday) or Tuesday if the bank will approve me for a loan.

I'm really in no hurry to sell the car, my "personal" car is still in my shop waiting for a frakenstein motor to be put in, so no rush. I'd like to sell the car with the wheels, but if you wanna put your own ones on then just throw me an offer

Car passes smog fine and all smog work will be done before sale (I'll smog if someone wants to buy only!).

Hey dude,
Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. I just applied for a signature loan with my bank, and they approved me for $2500. That should cover the cost of the car and registration fees. I'm going to the bank right now to finalize the paperwork and find out when the money will be deposited into my account.
If the car is still available, then it looks like I will be able to buy it from you. After I ge back from the ank I'll tell you what they said. After that maybe we can set up a meeting or something. I just wanted to know though, do you have the title with you? and also you said the car does run good and is driveable right?

It looks like my bank works a lot faster then they used to. I have the money sitting in my account right now. They actually approved me for a lot more then I ask, so my options aren't as limited anymore. Right now the money is sitting in my account, all I need to do is cut a money order.
I still wanna buy your car though, but I wanted to ask you a few questions:

-is there any rust visible?
-any electrical problems? (ie random car shutdowns, fuses blowing, etc)
-any major engine problems? (does it burn oil, excessive smoking at tailpipe, etc)
-any major dings? (I dont see any in the pics)
-missing interior pieces or outer trim?
-what's the condition of the interior trim and carpets? (is it moldy, smelly, ripped, wires hanging out, etc)
-does it have AC?
-does the sunroof leak?

smog is awesome, car will be smogged by me before sale
a VERY small minor rust spot at the rear of the trunk
no electrical problems
no major engine problems
no major dings
missing interior peices: rear cargo cover
condition inside the vehicle is awesome for this year, only has a few rips on the seats!
this model came with no A/C, so there's no A/C
sunroof does NOT leak!

check your IM, I dont know how I'm gonna be able to pick up a car 2-3 hours away. You might wanna hold off on smogging it while I try to figure something out.

Sorry for not responding sooner, my school partners had a gay *** meeting on our in-class presentation. I think I'ma fail that damn class...but I Im'd you on this pick-up problem.
