Default idle ?

I had a problem with my idle awhile back with it jumping from about 650 to about 1500 rpm's and then dropping back down, it would do it repeatedly and I was trying to figure it out so I pulled the plug off the eacv and it stopped. I talked to many people that told me they had the same problem and the just replaced the eacv. so I replaced it and about 2 weeks later it has gone back to doing the same thing. just wondering if anybody in here knows what I can do. its in my 88 crx si with stock motor

take the fitv off from under the throttle body. take the 8mm screws from the flat side and turn the white cap till it stops. don't lose the gaskets. put it back on. this is vauge but search fitv in this forum and you'll find an excellent write up on it.
