Does anyone know the correct name of the bronze/orange popular with the mugen tuned honda's? Im not sure if the colour is an official mugen colour or whether it is just used alot as its different. If anyone has the paint code or correct name I would be most grateful

also what spec air compressor should be used for car spraying? I have a 1.5hp 10ltr compressor capable of 8bar, is this sufficient? or would I require an upgrade? If so can I use an additional expansion tank rather than spending out on a new compressor! Thanks

 

im not really sure i know what you are talking about in terms of mugen tuned honda's. im guessing its a u.k. thing. could you post a pic or link of what color you are trying to identify or a car that it is on. i think that once you do this, someone on here will be able to help you out

edit: if you are talkin about maybe eddie hahm's car,(orange eg hatch with mugen M7's) the color is PPG imola orange mica with some gold in it i believe. its a honda s2000/NSX color i believe. sorry i cant help you with your gun/compressor question.

Thats the colour im meaning. I just need to find the code, I'll ask my local paint shop. Im sure they have a book of colours I can flick through

 

Imola Orange (YR-514P) should be DuPont F3034 I believe.

 

yeah thats definately Imola orange, its an OEM Honda color, not a Mugen color. Comes on the 05 NSX. Info for the orginal poster

Has this been used for the mugen s2000? Im sure theres a link between this colour and mugen, unless I just saw a mugen tuned honda which happened to have this colour.

The other colour I am considering is the yellow metallic used on this civic (5th picture down), anyone got an idea of this colour? A simular colour is on the new BMW M3
