Default Dynoed the newly LS swapped Civic(pics)

So Thursday I got a 95 LS motor swapped in my 95 Civic.I knew the motor had like 100k on it,but was already planning on building it and it was cheap(1600 installed) so I said the hell with it.So I took it to a dyno thats around here and just did 3 baseline runs.Wasn't expecting a whole lot, stock motor w/ 100k and i/h/e.So anything around 120 I'm happy.Well it did 115.8hp and looks like about the same torque. They said there dyno is a little conservitive so it should be around 125hp or so.Already in the plans of doing to slap on a VTEC head.Well heres the pics, need to get a new intake this was for a GSR so its not by the intake route.Let me know what ya think, any comments appreciated.

There's a chance you might be putting down more horses the dyno reads 4/24/05 or did you have them put that date in for other reasons. if not maybe it's a little off

I'd be pissed. The numbers are BARELY better then a D series with the same mods. at 115 to the wheels, thats about 132 at the crank. Pretty damn weak considering bolt ons. And no, I don't buy the "my dyno is conservative" excuse.

Clean up the wiring in the back and then go back to the shop and ask them why the didn't hook up the power steering. Whats with the paper towesl wrapped around the lines?

Its the mighty b-series, it cant be bothered with small details like power steering and a/c, thats how they make all their power, lack of accessories!

I know, I'm just poking fun at the point that that motor is slightly more powerful than a stock SOHC, and we didnt even have to waste the time or money on a swap for it.

are you using a b18a head or just valvecover?
that'd be sweet if you can put an ls valve cover on a b16, b18c head. total sleeper, beside the vtec sol/sensor

Whats with the N2O solenoid on the firewall?? Or is that the solenoid that adds more fuel for when you hit the N2O? I can see you have the braided line comming from above your fuel filter. How big of a shot are you using?

I don't understand the bashing,a man trys to improve his ride and he gets hated on.As i said the motor has alot of miles and Its only a baseline.Did i say my LS was better than a EX,NO.Did I claim that this was the best and fastest swap,NO.Did I say my LS should be making a lot more power and its all the dynos fault,no I was only stating what the people at the dyno told me.So what the ****.This is why this board is going to ****,******** like them. Its really ashame too.

Now to the guys with real question,

5genciv : Yeah around 2500-3000 its night and day, with my DX motor I had to get up past 4000 to make any passing moves, now I just lug around and torque all around.

B16 delSlow : I could really care less what it looks like under the hood, not going to any shows just my toy street car.As long as it runs, don't care what the comestics are.And the power steering is off cause i didn't have the bracket yet,and also I had a leak in one of my hoses so I just told him don't even worry about hooking it back up.

Hybrid93Eg : your gay!

Reiketsukan : no shot, just didn't get around to taking everything out,as i said before this is just my toy car.But i might hook it up again just to have a little more fun.Theres 1 fuel solenoid and 1 nitrous solenoid, its the wet kit.

sellers19 : thanks I appreciate that.

And yeah i'll get around to cleaning it up,but prolly just wait til i get my new head on,and other parts. Thanks for the positive comments.

Planning to gete this same swap, cool beans. Seems like it should be putting out more horses than what the dyno says, thats weird. I heard that with any swap they take out the pwer steering, is that true? Please excuse my ignorance, i'm not asking for flaming, just a straight forward answer
