Picked it up yesterday, it was raining today so no riding, taking it out tomorrow for a spin. Fell in love with the color scheme, I know it's not unique, but I love this bike. I have a hindle pipe coming, only mod so far.

Nothing like this to be honest. I was never into this kind of thing until recently, so I'm being extra extra extra careful with this bike. I know how to ride just not experienced enough yet. Got the bike for a little over 9K with a pipe/helmet. I'm 21 going on 22, and I have a good head on my shoulders. Id like to keep it there so you won't see me doing stupid **** with a bike like this.
Nice bike. Be extra careful on it with no experience. Respect it. You thought about taking the MSF? You got any gear?
OT: A buddy of mine at work has an '04 GSXR750. Now I noticed some companys on their 750's and 1000's went from six piston calipers back to four piston calipers, but with dual brake lines. Well I just happened to notice the other day the left caliper only has a single line and the right caliper has a dual line. What's up with that?

It has 1 line that comes off the master cylinder, that line runs down to the right side caliper, wich adds the second line wich runs over to the left caliper.

Got you. I guess I'll have to take a closer look near the front fender then. I was just sitting on one and looked down and though, gee that's odd.

Nice bike bro! And dont listen to some of these people.. you can start on anything as long as you know how to respect it, i wouldnt advise start on a 1K but a 750 isnt a bad starter. Ride safe and have fun

I love the 1000... but it's way to much bike for me, plus I don't feel like doing wheelies every time I ride a bike.
