When is transmission work/repair under warranty?

When is transmission work/repair under warranty?
I've noticed that when I am above 7500RPM in 2nd gear, and go into 3rd that I now grind. When I am below vtec, it doesn't happen. Does it sound like the syncros is going out?

Same thing was happenening to me, I would gring from 2nd to 3rd at high rpm's. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the syncros for me, It took them 2 days and it cost me nothing $ wise, but it did cost me a strut bar..The stupid workers stole it
