I have a 1994 accord 4 door. I read the write up on how to convert the front door handles with rear ones, but it was for a fourth generation. On fifth generations there is a plastic like piece that surronds the entire door handle. My question is, is this piece connected to the door handle piece and how will i get the door handle off at the junk yard without damaging this piece? And does anyone know of any door handle conversion write ups for fifth generation accords?

There is ALWAYS a way to replace this stuff. So you should be able to get it out find.

I believe the surround piece must be used, it is part of the handle. Just pop your door panel off and take a look at everything.
