Type R cams or crower turbo cams..????

Default Type R cams or crower turbo cams..????

SUp guys, got a question. Should I run my stock JDM 98 Spec R cams or crowe stage 2 turbo cams....im looking to get the most power out of it so.....any suggestion would be nice.. thanks

From what my tuner and others have told me the Crower cams may give you more peak hp, but the R cams will give you a broader power band. Regardless maje sure you get cam gears to dial them in.

thanks man i got some toda gears lasyin around so that wont be a problem, just trying to find out whats gonna get me down the track faster u know...

I was running GSR cams and had a pretty decent power curve, but I just upgraded to some ITR cams in hopes of broadening the power band. Here is the dyno graph showing what the GSRs were doing.

Boosted Hybrid said cars he was tuning were losing power with the Crower turbo cams vs. stock honda cams.

overlap is good for high RPM power, and high RPM's is where Hondas make power.

was that before he started tuning the cam gears? all of a sudden these high horsepower cars start popping up, and they have one thing in common.....tuned cam gears with a decent amount of overlap.....
