Default Need help!!!!

Well i was in the process of taking off my left rear strut/shock so i could throw my coilover in there, in the process i broke the bolt that holds the bottom of the strut, i got the strut out, but the bolt WILL NOT, slide out, i was hittin it with a sludge hammer and it wont go threw the lower control arm. I started drilling a tiny hole threw it, so then i can go bigger and maybe then sledge it out, but not sure. I need some help, any suggestions? Maybe new lower control arm? how much would 1 cost from like autozone?

Oh yeah, the car is a 91 crx. Thanks

i guess the best way is take off the whole lower control arm and get it cut off and you might need to get a new lower control arm.. maybe if you send some picture i can help you with it... turobeg2@sbcglobal.net

yeah thats what i was thinkin, right now ill continue to drill threw the bolt, then pound it, maybe it will cave in and give out so it will pop right now. I had a hella time tryin to get the coilover off my left side rear on my hatchback too. Sorry i dont have a digi cam so i cant send pics.

well there was enough of the threaded side of the bolt stickin out, so i put nut back on, then wrenched thinkin maybe it would spin it, but all it spun was the bushing in the control arm, so i will need to get a control arm 2morrow. Yay. Thanks for the help though!
