h22a-crx or type R-crx
go typr r to many problems with the h in the crx. you spend just as much on the fabrication getting the damn thing in as you would if you just got the type r and a hasport mmk. plus if you brake **** it is hard to get new parts to replace everything and you have the same power in the type r anyway and it involves less fab and is awesome. vtec in b series is better anyway.
Do the ITR CRX
I don't think it is really worth the effort for the H22A CRX, but if you can do your own work then I'm sure this setup would haul ***.

Theres no replacement for displacement hehe
its seems the k20 would look a far nicer install, I imagine once the modifications start to get away from stock they will probably be on par performance wise. But hey im just speculating, good luck

Having driven both, I would say for everyday street driving the H22 pulls a little harder. When you roll the throttle on at 3 or 4 k the H22 gives better acceleration. The type R need to be in the right rpm or the throttle response is a little sluggish.

yea!!!!!!!
b20/VTEC
i would have to say that h-series blocks are weak in comparison to b-series, k-srs in a crx will put the valve cover like 2-3 inches above the hood and if the car is lowered the oil pan clearance is CRAZY!!
i would probably go with a gsr myself it doesnt cost quite as much and the money saved can get some bolt-ons, such as a header, or mabey even internals.
good luck anywho
