I am a very superstitious person when it comes to some things. The incidents that occurred 11 years ago this very weekend are very vivid in my mind. A champion was struggling, a heir apparent was on the rise and things went very wrong. Fast forward 11 years and the picture is a little too chillingly familiar.

A little prayer for a safe weekend at San Marino. (Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger may be gone, but never will they be forgotten.)

Well, at least it won't be the first time F1 is going to attempt to use a "safety car"!

To this day and till the day I die I strongly feel the race should have been red flagged and the cars sent to the pits and put on tire warmers. I remember Gerhard Berger pitting and walking out of his car, I knew it was over then. When Ralf hit the wall last year and the race wasn't red flagged I sat there in cold sweat. I swear there are days I wish Bernie and Max would look at history and realize some of their rules have caused severe consequences.
