I was considering putting 96-98 oem style fogs in a 99-00 cwest bumper: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1219028

Well, I did it, and I really like it. So, I'm keeping it.

I have my flame suit on so let's hear it Honda-Tech. (All criticizm is welcome, except you can't flame about the lack of paint considering I bought the bumper a couple of hours ago. )

 

looks okay. but they are pretty close together

cosmetically, it looks okay, but since the fogs sit so far back behind the bumper, a lot of light is blocked

yeah, it is kind of far back. I was thinking of mounting them differently to get them out more. The way they are in the pics is far from "official". I won't even drive with them on since they'll probably fall off.

 

Looks like you did it. Paint them yellow or amber cause they look friendly in that color. What color are you painting the car?

the upper grill of ur "c-west" looks asymmetrical

no, it's abs plastic. I didn't want to buy authentic Cwest because fiberglass sucks.

Anyways, for some reason the left (looking at it from the front) sticks up higher than the right. I need to fix that.

Yeah when you paint it and have those painted yellow, it'll look extremely hot. It's fine now, but can be improved. At least you went through with it. to be creative. Actually never seen this done before you posted the Photochop.

 

thanks. It actually encouraged me that most thought it would look bad and some thought it would look ok. Now I know that no one else has the exact same front as me(whether people like it or not). How many more can say that?

Would you mind telling me where you got your "ABS" plastic C-West replica? I'd like to get one for daily driving so I can keep my authentic fiberglass for shows/shoots...

this thing won't be painted for a little while so I just though I'd post a little update...

mounted the fogs better, painted the foglights, painted the grill, primered the bumper.
