Default AEM EMS basemap...

Does anyone have or know anyone with an aem ems basemap for jrsc 98 gs-r with 9 psi and 440 injectors???

Also, will a basemap get me 150 miles to a tuner? I dont want to run the jrsc stuff, but I guess I could have it installed and then drive to the tuner and switch over if the basemap wont do the trick...

I have tried the AEM forums and am waiting for some responses...

I would just load a stock gsr map and rescale the map for your injectors. When you drive just dont smash on it and youll be fine. Keep it under 3k everything will be ok. Is the motor freshly built?

If I was you I would use the 440turbo basemap. Its closestest to your setup. you should be able to drive on that until you get your car tuned

I doubt there is a basemap for what you want.. A basemap is just to get the car started so a tuner can tune it.. I would run the 440turbo map and get it tuned..

I just gotta get it running on either the sotck injectors or the 440's to get me to a tuner 1 hr away...I can drive under 3k rpm, but want to know what the safest option is for me...

The safest option that I see is to run the stock injectors with a regular basemap and drive it there..

Yes.. Or you can drive the car there the way it is and put the ems on when you get to the dyno..

You think that is a better option?? Just run the jrsc stuff for safety's sake?

Are those the parts ill take off then at the tuner?? The fmu and the enrichment relay?? Thats it?

got the aem bulletin board and they freeze the startup maps ... there is one for a jr charged 440 setup, jsut download and then go to your tuner, no need ot make life this difficult.

Yeah its in Chi-Town.

http://www.whipfactory.com They seem to do some great work. Suprdave here on H-T is a tuner at Whipfactory. You can PM him. I'm not sure if he does EMS tuning, he probably does.

I still have a few weeks before i need to go get tuned, probably the last week of may.
