Any body use 225/45/16 in your dc2R??
I have something close.. 225/45/15 (Kumho Ecsta v700's). I really like the traction on the straights, but I am not fond of how sloppy they handle on the turns. But that also has alot to do with the tire itself, and not just the size. What you are asking has alot of variables in it. IMO, it would be better to compare two different tires of the same size, or the same tire in different sizes.
I heard some people said ITR can't use 225/45/16. It is because it is too wide. It will destory your tyre when turning. SO, i am confusing that problem.
When I first got my car it had a set of Yokohama A520's in 225/45/16. They rubbed the rear trailing arm just a tiny bit, and rubbed a little at full lock in the front. After that I went to an Azenis in 215/45/16 with no rubbing issues at all. Just put a new set of Hankook R-S2 Z212 on in 225/45/16 size and don't seem to have any rubbing issues at all. They are on 16" x 7" wheels, +50 offset.

225/45 is the same height as 205/50, which rubs for me on the top of the wheel well in front, when pulling into my driveway.
I won't try a 225/45 R16 myself. I'd look first for a 205/45? or a wider 40 series tire.
