Default CRX DX Wire harness(Searched)

I have a running DX, and wanted to do a swap. I have no clue on wiring. I would like to get an Si harness(with a vtec subharness). I remember reading that an Si engine harness will not mate with a DX in dash harness. is this true? I would like to keep the DX running while i get parts to complete the swap. So i don't want to give my DX engine harness to get it customed.

cannot use an SI wire harness. Search under "MPFI" and you will find a ton of stuff, I did and I did my own conversion recently.

oh yah I am doing a B16 swap. I guess they do not mate up. just trying to skip the soldering steps, and de/repinning steps. My friend has a CRX Si engine harness, but I have a DX. thx for the comments.

I did the 88 dx to JDM b16a swap about a year ago... you will have to do the sodering anyways when you start hooking up everything at the ECU, so i'd say keep the dx harness and go from there. The only difference between the dx and si harness is when you do the swap you will have to add the 2 other fuel injectors.

so the DX indash harness doesn't mate up with the Si engine harness without rewiring. I guess I am going to get the Si indash, and engine harness.

why not just modify the dx harness, it isn't that much work, just a few more wires than the si harness, you still have to wire up the vtec harness and a few other wires anyways. Just keep the dx and you'll save yourself alot of headache

I have no wiring knowledge. rather get it right the first time. I will be paying an outside source to do it. i would have to send my DX harness to them. then I will have no transportation. I work from 1 am-9am. most people sleep around that time. so rides are out of the question.

buy a dx harness for dirt cheap, then send it out to get "done" by rywire, hasport, or anyone really.

you dont lose your car, and you get it right the first time.

the end.
