Hey Gang,

Does anyone have any clue as to where I can mount my new remote oil filter? I am putting in a new cooler and I have NO IDEA where I am going to find room for it.

any suggestions?...photos?

Hmm, the Realtime cars had them mounted up where the battery was. Of course the battery was relocated...

What size filter are you going to run? That will kind of help you decide where it needs to go.

 

I would NEVER mount it in the fender area... one little mishap and NO OIL for the motor...and a HUGE mess..

 

With that in the fender, do you have a hard time changing the filter?

How do you get to it?

I am planning on using a slightly over sized filter than the stock one. I have treid this using a sandwhich plate , but there was NO way that was going to fit with the oil lines installed.

Do you have any suggestions on how to mount the battery in the rear? Pics would be a huge plus. Have you had any negative experiences with the addtion of the cooler and the remote filter? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to do it right the first time.
