Default B16 just swapped in crx and check enigne light

OK. I've done plenty of swaps in crx/civics and have been building motors, do all wiring and soforth. Now that i swap my own crx i get a check engine light. #3 map sensor. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I swapped out map sensor with the jdm one and that still doesn't seem to fix it. If anyone has any input i would greatly appreciate it.

well i don't know my *** from my elbow when i comes to CRX's but i just had that prob in my EG auto and it turned out that there was another connector behind my battery and i plugged it in and presto, If your map sensor is busted your looking at close to 200 buck to replace. this is just an experience i had in a completely different car so don't take what im saying as a fact in any way just a suggestion

Did you reset the ecu after you changed the MAP sensor? Double check your wiring, make sure you didn't mix up the MAP sensor plug with the TPS plug.

Map Sensor should not be $200 unless you are buying brand new. I would get a used one off of ebay for $10-20.

On 88-91 civic/crxs the map and tps are in totally different location's. I did reset the ecu plenty of times and double checked everything. The map sensor is on the firewall.

Are your hoses still good? Your hoses might have a leak somewhere between the MAP and the TB. I had the same problem with my ZC swap and it was just a bad hose.
