Default 87 Accord Carb Stalling

So I originally posted this here

The car was working fine. I took the car to a friends house and parked for a few house while we went out. Came back and drove it home. It was about a 30 min trip. This problem started about 10mins from my house. The car started to stall between 2000-3000 RPMS. If I feather it and keep it at 2000 it will die. It also dies when idle at a stop. It also does this in neutral.

This is everything I have replaced.
Radiator & Thermo
VCG
Both fuel filters
New Disty, Cap, Rotor, Plugs, & Wires
New Coil
New Alternator
New Battery
New Grounds

I added a fuel gauge inline and the fuel pressure is solid, I thought maybe fuel pump. Now I’m thinking it might be a timing issue or the carb going out. I’m running out of money and I need to drive. So any dead on ideas would be great.

carbs don't just die, and are very cheap to overhaul with a little know how

you probably got a bad float or something is clogged up

Pull off your rear fuel filter and see if there is any water in it.

carbs do get full of crap... i don't personally recommend rebuilding one if you plan on upgrading anytime soon, but these are pretty simple carbs... with a repair manual and a few hours, you can be back on the road... i just chose to go the way of EFI for reliability and fuel economy since this will be a daily driver...

just don't expect too much in the way of real performance out of these carbs...

sounds like carb problem to me as well here is what you do. remove air cleaner, on back of carb there is the idle solenoid, remove 8mm screw, take out idle solenoid, if you have access to an air gun blow pressurized air into the hole in the carb, reconnect solenoid start car make sure to plug vacc hoses so you dont have a vacc leak if it idles you got internal carb problems
