Default Anyone take out there AC system and completely regret it?

I am completely torn in making a decision on this. I am moving to texas in a year so I do have to take that into consideration I guess. But everyone I know keeps saying "Don't do it!!!"

You think I will be just dieing under the blazing hot texas sun?
I don't get bothered by the heat during the summer in NY. But will texas sun kill me

DONT DO IT!

i live in Miami, FL and in the summer it gets freakin' hot!!!!

Texas? Hell no dont do it. Think about if you take some girl out, you dont want her to have swamp ***, or you get out to go into work and the back of your shirt is soaked.

I could understand in the North, but not the south.

In Colorado the air is way cooler than the sun strength... no humidity. So I'm maybe miserable 5-10 days during summer? Where like it is really uncomfortable to drive? It's not bad up here... **** Texas tho? Keep it.

Is it a daily driver or just a weekend/cruiser car? Regardless if you ask me it's not worth it to remove unless it's some kind of track ****. I never even use my AC and I refuse to remove it (I like knowing it's there, even though if it's too hot I don't drive the car).

I live in Texas and haven't had a/c or heat in any of my cars for the past 7 years or so. My girlfriend doesn't even have a/c or heat in her car.

My friend has taken the AC out of his ride before and he doesn't mind it at all. I think he's crazy though, Texas summers are hot . I wouldn't do it.
