Default Dynoed the hatch on Wednesday

After 363 miles on the newly built engine....here's the dyno:

Tuned at Balance Performance

4th gear pull
A/F and Ignition tuning

Maybe will go back for tuning the stock cam...

I don't think Ed would run 22 degrees at 26psi even on race gas. That's pretty high...

How did you hookup your oil catch tank?? Is your PCV valve still operational or is it hollowed out??

The head is completely stock with exception of crower valves and JG retainers.
Stock TB, Stock IM, and NO P&P.

also im not trying to bash on your setup , it certianly is sick, but don't you think that turbo might be slightly to large? the a/r i mean?

i mean on you 26 psi run your peak tourque runs from 6k -8.5k and on you 10 psi its not much better only runing from 5.5 - 8k

i think because of the LARGE turbo your setup is very peaky, do you know what rpms you are hitting full boost on the 10psi and 26 psi run?

agian im not bashing only looking to start alittle discussion. those are AWESOME number something i hope to hit when i dyno at 10psi

it maybe a little large....but, i will be pushing more later on. i didnt want to buy a small turbo and then only to upgrade later on. I believe it hits full boost around 5000rpm or so... this isnt a car i'll be driving around everyday... it'll be mostly a race car.

im glad you brought it up...reason is ive been going back and forth and finally decided on this turbo...

i would like to have a better spool up... but its okay... have to try and learn....

if its too laggy you can always use nitrous to help spool up.

this spools the same as our other car's Full-race T3/67 .63a/r on a 2.0L GSR engine @ 28psi.

comparison between GT40 and T3/67

what are you looking for? what numbers are you looking for at what RPM?

here's my old dyno from almost 3 years ago....its a drag 2 kit with a t3/t4b... not a good source because of a bad map sensor. 14psi---VAFC

Heres my all motor dyno...peak torque is about 5000rpm also.

if someone has a dyno of their h22 with a smaller turbo at say 10psi.... post it in here so we can compare.

if you look at this link in reference to This One's dyno its pretty much the same too.
