Default Brembo and Hawk part #s *i looked*

well my tire rack order came in damn they rule.

I ordered 2 sets of the same thing one for my 1991 civic with SI hubs and my dad wanted to be a copy cat and loved my cars setup before so he copied me.*he has a 1991 CRX DX as his toy*

So box comes today both boxes for pads and rotors have same #s on them they are brembo blanks and hawk HPS pads.

Is this ok I've understood the SI ran differnt pads and rotors?

sorry for my suckdom

i just ordered hawk brakes a little while ago.. i bought part number hb218-583 for front pads in my 91 si. the problem is i havent put them on yet to see if they are even the right ones.. but i spent about 3 days searching for the correct part number, and that is what i came up with, both from the hawk web site and the website i ordered them from.

they should have the same brake pads. Unless you updated the calipers to 90-91 CRX Si. That is based on owning a 90 Civic Si, 90 CRX Si, and 91 CRX Si.

SI and DX have different rotors just by the size of venting spacing the rotor itself has a little different size in material the pads are the same.

The rotors will fit for DX to SI so really your dad has just upgraded his rotors!
