Default My EF on Slicks... and teh results?

Well, here it is. Bet run of the night was the first run, go figure. I only got 4 runs in, the track was too damn busy..

Setup: 190whp LSVTEC in EF hatch, rolling on 22" slicks at 12PSI launching at 3k RPM

R/T .7738
60ft 1.9143
330ft 5.6041
1/8 ET 8.6392
1/8 MPH 81.53
1/4 ET 13.4962
1/4 MPH 101.31

What do you all think? I know my car is faster, especially on slicks. I need to learn how to drive. What's a good 60ft for slicks?

(I know, its a repost, but I didn't get **** for replies in the Drag Racing board)

tahts decent but 101 mph is low for that run, you gotta get outta the hole quicker, try launching higher with new axles

im hitting currently on stock b16 14.6@97mph

I tried launching at 45, but it didn't hook as good as it did at a lower RPM.. thats why my first run was the best, because I kept trying to up the launch RPM I think.

your 60ft looks pretty good... just work on your higher rpm/ clutch feathering and i think you can get out of hte hole faster

Mmmm, that's alright. I'd expect a little more with 190whp. a 1.8 60' is decent, and a 1.7 is good. If you can hit a 1.6 you're amazing The mph seems a bit low for your power, how much does your car weigh?

Not really sure, its a 91 STD with the B series swap, and everything but plastic behind the front seats removed...

what kind of axles do you have? and what was your tire pressure at, that makes a huge difference

My 13.49 run was at 12PSI, times only got worse as I dropped the tire pressure.
I have stock axles, but I don't care.. if I break them I'll just replace.

Nice 60ft But, shouldn't the mph be a lil higher than that?

I should hope so, my best run on BFG street tires was 13.68 @ 101.58 with a 2.09 60ft

Too low of pressure in the slicks, maybe?

what did you do to the motor as far as the lsvtec goes?
in other words, anything in the way of aftermarket cams, are the pistons stock b18 a-b, gasket thickness, ect.

190hp is pretty good for that lsvtec IMO if thats stock parts.

Most importantly, what tranny are you using? LS, GSR, Type R

btw
congrats
sorry to hear the drag guys don't appreciate it, I wish I could say I had 190 hp

Webams, CTR pistons, milled '00si head, stock headgasket... My mod list is in my profile. I plan on getting more power once I dump the VAFC and the Mugen chipped PR3 ECU
