i have a set of falken azenis 195/50/14, on steelies. i ran them when i was n/a and i had broken motor mounts, i launched at 4k and it bogged. i launched at 5k and it put a hole in the tranny cuz it hopped so bad. so i'm kinda scared about launching with them.

any tips on launching techniques with them. tire pressure, rpm, slip/dump the clutch. any help would be appreciated. thanks

 

i ran 205/50/15 azenis on my GSR for 2 seasons with a50 shot. I burned them a bit ( i know they say not to burnout on radials but i swear it helped i tried it both ways many many times) and launched low around 3800rpm.if your wheel hopping launch higher, you should spin instead of hopping. And i ran my RF tire 3-5lbs lower than the LF to help keep it from spinnig as much.

 

i have 205/50/15 on my boosted gsr and with the tire pressure around 20lbs i was pulling 2.0 60's on my open differential... but i was also wondering what else i could do to help and how low of tire pressure you can go with azenis...

 

those falken anis tires are not that great for draggin get some bfgs drags there hella sticky and get some good motor mounts, and just practice alot if you have a 2 step rev limiter it makes a big diffence but if you dont just get to know your car and launch that beast. ............good luck !!!!!!
