I just bought a set of slipstreams in 15x6.5 and I saw a website offered 195/50 15 for 6.5 inch wheels
My question is what is the advantages and disadvantages of running 195/50 15 or 205/50 15 on these wheels?
Mainly is traction that much different with these 2 different sizes
Thanks any info will work

Nonsense. You can look up the approved rim widths for any 205/50-15 tire you're considering. Most are approved for rim widths of 6.0-7.0 inches. Many ITR owners mount this size on the stock 15x6 wheels with no problems (including me, for my track tires).
Your car originally came with 185/60-14 tires. I would look for tires with the same outer diameter, so that you can maintain the accuracy of your speedometer and odometer, and avoid rubbing on the fender well liners. That would be the 195/50-15. The 195/50-15 is also less expensive than the 205/50-15 (sometimes by a considerable margin).

I don't really care about the speedo difference it hasn't worked since I did the LS swap.
I decided to try the Hankook RS-2 in 195/50-15 because there cheaper than the 205's and if I still have traction problems I can later on go to a 205
