well i picked this up yestarday and am very happy with it. its an 02 Impreza wagon. Yes, i know its not a WRX. and no i didnt want a wrx either. future plans are rims, wrx brakes, wrx interior, optional spoiler, front lip and a bit of a drop. other than that this car is staying the way it is...so far its been so much fun to drive and i love the color...

about 5k for the cheapest wrx i could find compared to this one...plus higher cost of insurance, higher cost in gas...

i defiantly think this was a smart move on my part...now the crx is going away so i can fix her up...

Why would you buy the base model if you plan to put all WRX parts, except for the engine, onto it? Makes no ******* sense to me whatsoever, but whatever floats your boat man. Congrats on the purchase of the car

thanks guys...well "wrx" brakes, is really just a caliper bracket and wrx front rotors...about 200-250 with pads new...wrx interior is about 400 bucks for both front and rear seats and door panels...so 650 bucks is definatly &lt; $5000+
