my crx will start and if u keep your foot on the gas to hold the throttle open it stays on ****** ...itsan 88 si and only 2 cylinders are firing from the distributer right the first one and the second one fire and the 3rd one gets nothing and the fourth one gets spark but no fire

 

Have you checked the timing on it, also are your spark plug wires connected, spark plugs, there are many different things that could be wrong your distributor may be bad. I would check those out first.
