Looking into purchasing 15" wheels for autox for my 04 Civic Si, and found some Rota slipstreams with 40+ offset. I have a set of Falken Azenis 205/50/15 sitting on my some webs off my old car in the garage. Would 5mm of the wheel pushed in more and the tire width cause any clearance issues? My car is not lowered and all stock as of now and just want better tires for autox than the MX4's they come with.

Car: 04 Civic Si w/ stock suspension
Stock wheels: 16" 5x114 45+ offset 205/55/16 Michelin MX4
Wheels I want: 15" 5x114 40+ offset 205/50/15 Falken Azenis

 

they should.

i have 15x7.5 with a +43. they were making contact with teh lca under compression, in the rear on the right. i added a 5mm offset spacer to the rears and no more issues.

 

They will fit no problem. I have 15x7 + 40 Rota Slips on my EP and they work like a champ.

 

i thought u needed a bigger rim to clear the bigger brakes of the 5 lug?

Same size brakes.
