As some of you know, I'm working on my '83 1500S.

It's carbed, and I'm going to convert to OBDI.

The actual mounts and the wiring the OBO aren't a problem at all.

I'm just trying to determine the best method of making the actual fuel system compatible with the EFI.

I've been told I have to change the gas tank and fuel pump to a newer style unit.

But why can't I just go with an aftermarket fuel pump and run some custom fuel lines?

I read somewhere (at some point) that I can use some of the existing system by keeping the factory fuel line as the new return line and then running a custom line as well.

There's really no info at all out there that I can find except for redpepperracing...and even that doesn't pertain much to me as the carb/fuel setup is different because the 1st gen CRX with carb is still computer controlled.

Help me out my fellow EF brothers. I have nowhere else to turn!

Okay....get the Si wiring harness from which Si? 1st gen CRX SI?

Or a second generation SI? I assume you mean 1st gen SI because the 2nd gen have intank pumps.
