Alright, it's time for the AZ guys to meet up again. Thanks to some other ITR owners, I was made aware that Firebird will be hosting an Imports only Drag night every Thursday night starting on 2-7-02. So I figured let's do an ITR meet on 2-7-02. I am expecting all AZ ITR owners ot be there, no excuses.

Also, for any that are interested, there will likewise be a NASA sponsered (sp?) event at Firebird that weekend. Myself and at least one other ITR owner will be there on Saturday (2-9-02) from 7:00 A.M. to about 5:00 P.M. This is on the Firebird East track. It's only $20 to watch (but sometimes they don't even make you pay that, so don't worry about it). Plus you can ride along with pretty much anyone there who is willing to have a passenger. Point being, come see the ITR do what the ITR does best. This is not drag racing, it's on the actual track with twisties, etc.

Hell yeah...gsr's are plenty good enough...we dont discriminate....all 4 and 5 luggers are invited.

I am definately interested in the NASA meet on Saturday, but if you all are going to meet out at the drag night I will have to come down. I havent met anyone on this board yet and it is about time that I start putting some names with some faces.

 

ill be there, i should have a set of replacement axles jsut in case i need them. maybe i can get some weight reduction done too

Definately come to the NASA event if anything. I promise you will have a lot of fun. Come to both events if possible; they should both be fun. But if you have to choose between one or the other, the NASA would be my reccomendation (sp?).

I thought that was pretty good for my very very first run at the track... especially since it's not even my car. This sucks... I basically won't have a car for February since mine's in the shop because I'm an idiot. Oh btw, is that landspeedracing guy with the ITR here on h-t?

I saw a yellow ITR driving on the 101 around 9:30, I assume it was someone from the Firebird event. Anyone here?

Just want to say that my first experience at the tracks was really fun. I know i'm out of place here... being a prelude owner and all, but just wanted to let everyone know to keep up the good work and keep bringing those times down.
