newbie here w/ a stock 91 hatch
Hey guys Im new here and I have a 91 stock civic hatch. It has a d15b1 1.5L 4 spd tranny. Im new to the whole HONDA scene so please excuse me on some things. I hope I gain a lot of knowledge here and have already read a lot of the FAQ and guidlines so hope not to **** too many ppl off.lol Anyway on with some things I need to figure out about my hatch. I bought the hatch a few weeks ago for 700 bucks not too abd a price but the engine is REALLY dirty and a few oil leaks here and there I need to fix. On with the probs it has.
-When Im running in 4th gear I get a whistle/whining noise coming from the front of the car, it is really hard to pinpoint it to where it is coming form either driver side or passenger. I cannot find out where to locate where my tranny fluid is.
-The car has a pretty high idle when the clutch is in or when in neutral. I do not know how/what this would cause. I read somewhere on here about people having the same probs and to check the IACV, where is that?
Well thanks everyone for your time, and remember Im a newb to HONDA so when speaking about "IACV" please atlease dont abbreviate it or, gimme a description where things are heh, thanks

welcome but you want to go to the other civic forum. here https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum?id=3
this is for the 92 and up civics
to check tranny fluid, passenger side, you have to reach down as the dip stick is really short and hard to find
