Default I suck at life.. LSVTEC on slicks.

Well, here it is. Bet run of the night was the first run, go figure.

Setup: 190whp LSVTEC in EF hatch, rolling on 22" slicks at 12PSI

R/T .7738
60ft 1.9143
330ft 5.6041
1/8 ET 8.6392
1/8 MPH 81.53
1/4 ET 13.4962
1/4 MPH 101.31

I know my car is faster, especially on slicks. I need to learn how to drive.

There are guys around here running EG hatches with H22s (I/H/E), running 12.9 w/ slicks. I can't even come close to the 12s with a lighter car and more HP... I am also at sealevel.

That mph should hit a 13.0. Try 10 psi in the slicks next time and see if it hooks better. You should hit 1.8's no problem.

You should pull high 1.7s-low 1.8s easily. Those slicks are a little big for 190whp. Try a little 20 inch slick on 12psi and launch at 5-6000, make sure you get them heated up, and make sure they are in good shape.

i have an eg with and h23/vtec and i run 7psi in my 24.5" slicks and it hooks up crazy! i get 1.65 60ft's all day with the air pressures @ 7psi.i know a bunch of other people that run their slicks as low as 5psi. make sure you have the axles to handle it though! peace!

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm getting ready to buy a pair of slicks since the ones I was running weren't mine. I was thinking today about all of this. I think my first time was the best, because after the first run I started dropping pressure in the slicks.. after I started to drop the air pressure, my 60ft times started to get worse and my trap speed started to suck. Next time I go out I plan on running as much as 15psi and dropping from there. Make any sense?
