Default Exhaust for 6th Gen

Any pointers on a cat-back that isn't too loud but still adds a good amount of HP

personally I love my magnaflow exhaust, I do a lot of highway cruising and it doesn't drown anything out, actually pretty quiet for an exhaust except for when you're accelerating

also see Guide to basic accords.

Some cat-backs are listed there with brief descriptions.

Think the apex'i one is good? I beleive it's the N1, someone said it has a nice growl but isn't too loud

N1 is gonna be loud... probably one of the loudest. materials and quality are very good though.

Greddy Evo My cousin has one and it sounds sweet. Low and deep and not too loud but you'll still be able to demand some attention when you want it.

Most of the cat-backs will give you about the same kind of results in regards to power. It's really a question of looks and sound after that. Apexi WS is a very quiet exhaust, and the N1 would be very loud...

Very quiet:
Apexi WS
Greddy SP

Somewhat quiet:
Tanabe Hyper Medaillion

Not quiet, but not loud:
Greddy EVO (would probably be my choice)

Loud:
Apexi N1

Thats what it was I had the N1 and the WS2 mixed up. I beleive I should be picking up all throughout the summer the Turbonetics turbo kit, the Apex'i WS2, Apex'i AFC, then a dyno tune. Should put me around the 300 range for hp hopefully. It's all about the money though, I have to start savin more!

Don't expect too much, i'd probably be looking for around 250hp on the Turbonetics kit...and if youre getting a turbo, i'd be looking for piping at least 2.5 in, maybe more like 2.75-3.00 piping...

I am getting more stuff toi push it to 300 not just the turbo. As of right now I have a intake and soon cams, apex'i afc, dyno tune, exhaust and the turbo so I shoudl be around the 300 range. Dyno tunes help a lot according to other people

Yup I would look for something with bigger piping than the Apexi WS if your going to run a turbo. Maybe KTeller piping and N1 muffler or something similar.

If you want it quiet, a custom exhaust with a magnaflow straight through and a large resonator will do the trick. 18" or longer resonator will certainly be quiet enough. Just make sure it's stainless steel so it wont rust out...
