Default z6,y8, and an a6....lots of questions and I would love some input

ok this guy told me he would sell me his d16z6 for really cheap because it had a slight knock (he was a HT member) I figured cool I will buy it and rebuild it with new bearings, ARP rod bolts, and put in some zc rods and pistons....I got the motor today and it is a D16y8......I am not too upset because I know the y8 mani is the best for our d-seires motors it also has an aem fuel rail......My question is I jsut did an obd 1 mini me swap with an a6 bottom and z6 head.....what would I have to do if I wanted to run the y8 with obd 1.....also will the block just bolt in to my chasis same as any other d series?

now I would like some peoples ideas for what I should do with all my d-series stuff layin around I have
an a6 block with z6 head new everything on it except internally
a complete y8 motor
an a6 head and ecu pretty much all the left over stuff from my mini-me
a b18a TB

my too choices where putin dohc zc pistons (also are the pistons from the DOHC integra 86-89 I think the same) and and using the z6 head and have a high compression motor.

Or I was maybe thinkin about putin the a6 head on the y8 block and run about 12 pounds of boost because of the really low comp I thik it would be around 8-1 wouldn't it?

I dunno I would love to here some input from all of you peole who ahve done this stuff before sorry so many questions

the y8 should bolt in no problem.
i dont know what to do about the distributor, if it will just plug in or not.
but, youll definitely want to run the y8 obd1 if you swap it in. the y8 head is higher compression than the the z6. bore the y8 mani to 58mm, the same size as the b18a tb, it will bolt right up. is the engine from an auto or manula? you can check real quck by looking to see if the iacv is mounted on the intake manifold or the tb, tb is auto, im is manual.

here you go, youll love this, it's a d-series compression calculator.
