Default Any way to approximate how man RPM's lost between shifts (LS Tranny)

I will be running an HX35 this summer on a 83mm b18a and I am trying to piece together my intake system right now (IM, tb, charge piping, etc). I am trying to figure out a good approximation of how far the rev's will drop between shifts in each of the first 3 shifts. . . 4th to 5th should't come into play.

I have the 14cm^2 turbine housing. . . w/ 2.5" vband out o2 housing, so spool will probably be slightly later than the standard 12cm^2 hx35. I may end up having to switch turbine housings. I'm expecting power from 4800 on up to 8000 (strictly speculation based on what I've read from other people's experiences), will I be pushing it as far as falling out of my power-band goes?

I'm hoping to only have to rev to 8k (don't want to take it much higher)

and before anyone jumps in with, "That's why I bought a GS-R" or "Just get a GS-R" or "Put a vtec head on it" - I would like to retain my LS head.

If someone has an RPM datalog of anything with an LS tranny, please hook me up.

are you using a stock head? cause if you are that head stops making power at6200 rpms. Now if you can rev it to 8k then gsr tranny would be perfect, my ls with a gsr tranny is short as hell but i love it, 1st 2nd gears are the same in a gsr and an ls 3rd and 4th and final drive are different.

Gear ShiftRPM Speed @ 8000 RPM
1st N/A 39.9
2nd 4706 67.8
3rd 5343 101.6
4th 6090 133.4
5th 5913 180.5

That's assuming a perfect shift at 8000, of course. In reality you're probably looking at around 4300-4500 RPM's shifting out of first and falling out of boost.

I'm running a JG Pro Series head w/ Crower 403's.

I don't know if it will make power to 8k, but I'm hoping for the best. I've seen a couple dyno's from JG Pro heads that held to 8.5-9k . . .but I'm scared to rev that high.

It looks like I better just swap on that 12cm^2 housing before even hitting the dyno.
