i had and ecu burn out on me and the way it burnt out was 2 wires from the ecu touch and now my vtec is doing wired thing. i check the pinouts for my car and found out that the 2 lines that touched were the ELD and the o2 Sensor. So I replaced both of them and my car was still having the same issues, which are after the car warms up and i run vtec for a little while it starts to stumble cut in and out and i getting a ticking noice only when vtec is engage. it feels like it wants to go and then it kicks in then it kicks out. So far i have replaced the ECU i and a p28 rechip and now i an running a p30. I have a B16a2 stock bottom end and a built head skunk 2 spring and retainers, cam gears crt cams. I also have replaced the throttle body, map sensor, TPS, the under the hood fuse box, o2 sensor. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have any advise on what to check?
