Default Tranny Breakage

I do understand that the transmission breaks and naturally assume that the gears are breaking from what I have read and heard along with final drives. What other parts are breaking?>

I was wanting know what the T4 cars and the hotrod cars are doing to fight this.
I thought about cryo for the gear sets and final drives and that seems logical but wouldnt that place more stress on the case? How effective would this actually be in these cars? How about completely different gearsets?( liberty $$$$)

Is it the syncros that are not slowing the actual gear down enough to make the change from lets say first to second? Could there be a different material or maybe a coating that would alter the properties that could slow it down soon enough for the gear change or is it simply the power that is breaking the parts?

I know breakage is going to happen but I would like to do as much as I can to prevent if possible.

Thnx
Nick

yeah I know that the aftermarket tranies are baller. Way to baller for me but do you think that cryo gears would work or maybe different material on the synchros

you can cryo-treat the tranny internals and their is a special lubricant coating you can have applied to the internals, but i dont know how much it actually helps.

yeah thats my plan right now but with the shortage of B series trannies its getting more expensive!

Is it cost that prohibits it or is it just not that effective? Or has people really not had that much experiance with it?

Doesn't really seem like Jason and Brian "lift and shift", but maybe I can't tell from the videos! Their one-two shifts don't even allow the front shocks to recompress...

It's all about shifting fast and not 'hard'.
