I posted this in the suspension forum but haven't really gotten too many responses about it so hopefully someone here has some advice for me...

hey, I have old school weapon R coil overs with koni yellows on my 88 hb. If I want, I can tuck 17s, but not 15s. the spring perch on the strut keeps me from going all the way down. ( in the front ) the rear sits right on top of the tires. I know a threaded strut will let you go a hell of a lot lower. you might want to toss those threaded selves. that's is all I know about that, good day
I had omni's which are supposed to give you a 3" drop but at the lowest setting it would barely touch the top of the tire in front... it would tuck the rear at only about half of the sleeve. It doesn't matter anymore because I dont have them any longer. I sold the coilover setup for a fixed drop without a threaded sleeve. I have Bilstein shocks and RS*R springs (advertised at 2.2" front and 1.6" rear)... No adjustment whatsoever and it still looks stock in the front but the rear is right where I want it. I'm kinda pissed because this is my second suspension setup and it still looks jacked up! ...Rides nice though

I have a 90 si hatch, and i am tucking my 99 si rims up front and sitting just at the top of the wheel on the rear. I have adjustable coilovers. I don't know what kind they are, they are blue, but the ride isn't bad at all. I know of a friend who put focus coilovers on the rear of his crx and it slammed it on 15's.
