are there any signs that your ignitor is about to go? My tach just recently began to be all jumpy and I read that the ignitor has something to do with that. Anything like that happen to your hatch?

well mine was like that. b16 crx. i was driving and all of the sudden the motor died. pulled over and check disb. looked at the ignition coil and it was burnt up.the little metal thing on my cap that connects to the ignition coil was melted. so i had to replace the ignition coil plus caps. now all better.

it happened to me once... but it was while i was driving. what happened to me was my ECU fuse burnt up, but then there's alot of other **** that could be wrong like maybe ur dizzy is just bad or you're not getting any spark from wires... or all ur spark plugs are burnt... maybe it's time to change them.
