Default 5th gen Tranny help

I have a 2000 Prelude SS vtec, what can i do to upgrade my tranny, to good with my turbo? I was thinking about swapping to a 5 speed tranny. What trannies can I use on a swap?

5th gen Prelude Auto Tranny is a POS . If you stuff more hp on your car, it will die quicker. Swap to 5-speed is always a best idea Depend on what you want, you could swap USDM tranny or JDM tranny with LSD. Look at the FAQ for tranny codes and gear ratios, then make up your mind.

yeah i killed the auto tranny with intake and exhaust to the point that it wouldnt let the motor crank over when i got the 5speed put it felt like a totaly different car plus the tranny i found had a quaife lsd in it
