E-brake smell?

I've noticed when I'm on a hill (stop light or stop sign) and the car is on, I'll have the e brake on and I'll start to smell the "e brake smell." That burned rubber smell, you know? Any ideas?

e-brakes dont smell...nor am i aware of any scent that they give off

ebrake smell? Maybe you have a leak, and its leaking on the engine, making a nasty smell.

Damn.. hmm. You've never pulled the e brake to stop and smelled that burned rubber smell, not your tires, but.. man nm. :/
