ok heres the senario, i have a 2000 civic si and the sunroof will not tilt up. it will slide back and forth fine. i took apart the switch cleaned the connections and everything. the tilt feauture works occasionally when i jiggle it. i tryed to jump the connection using a paperclip on the plug and no give. my question is: does the sunroof have more than one relay for sliding back sliding forward and tilt? maybe someone has encountered this problem before and can help me out any help is much appreciated

 

if it occasionally works when you jiggle it i'd say its most likely your switch.
Either go to a junk yard and take one from an EX civic or buy a new switch from honda.

well for some reason i dont thibk its the switch, because i physically jumped the connections with a paperclip on the plug and it wont even tilt then. i jiggle the relay and it works. i'll replace the switch anyways. think a 1998 honda accord power sunroof switch will work?

anyone know what kind of relay it is? where i can get one without going to honda?
