Cheap Camber Kits Make Noise?
Is this true? I got a front & rear camber kit which cost $80 off ebay from a friend... & was j/w if they really did make noises? Thanks
yaa, they do...at least my dropzone front camber kit does. When i turn the wheel or brake hard or reverse and brake, the upper control arm seems to move and make a clicking noise due to the transfer of weight. Im getting rid of the front and goin for some real deal ingalls, hoping that it will solve the problem. as for the rear, i havent had any problem with them yet, and i dont think they really will...i hope not. later on i might replace those too.
when i had dropzones i thought they made noise but i found out later it was something else making noise. i had em for a year before i took em off. im not using a camber kit now. just make sure the toe is zeroed out. hth

Ingalls front camber kit w/polyurethane bushings will squeak unless you lubricate them every few months. Ingalls w/rubber bushings will not squeak. Many people don't even know that Ingalls come with the option of different bushings.

Ya urethane bushings are notorious for squeaking. thats the trade off, stock rubber bushings (quiet, soft ride, easily deflected in the corners) or urethane (stiffer ride, maintains shape in corners, noisy if not lubed). Cant have the best of both worlds...
