Default Who could do a hit and run

Today while I was parked outside a church for my grandfathers funeral (he passed last wenesday) some one hit my ITR. THe whole driver side needs to now be repainted. All I can tell is that it was a white car. My insurance will cover all the cost except the 300$ deductiable. I guess it could be worse but still 300 is alot for me doing nothing. I filed a police report and the cop made it seem like I made the whole thing up to cover me crashing. But the only way it is possible for the damage is for a car to be backing up and turning to shaply because the damage starts right after the wheel well and goes to the the start of the rear fender.
Well I guess today can not get much worse. I will have pics up as soon as possible most likely tomoroow.

it all depends on which state you are located
here in MA no one stops for nothing anymore
if you file a claim/police report for any type of accident
they won't even question you for it
it's kinda sad because some people use it to cover up their mess
however, whether you pay outa your own pocket or screw insurance comp. over insurance price will only go up so why not use the system if they are screwing you left and right?

Good Luck on the repair

I had a rather nasty hit and run experience about a year and a half ago in my R. Two cops showed up. One took a good look at the scene and immediately saw what I was trying to explain, the other kept looking for excuses to blame me for the whole thing. He finally submitted when he picked up a piece of amber colored plastic and realized that the rear of my car contained absolutely no amber. Damn cops.

That sucks, 2 days ago a guy delivering papers drove in the back of my gf's hatch while it was parked on the road. He then tried to take off, but a neighbor was out having a smoke and he is a cop, so he took off after him. He got a careless and leaving the scene charge. Then the guy wanted to take it to his buddy to fix it for cheap. F that, we took it straight to honda. Then he showed up at my house last night at 11:30 while I was at work threatening my gf.

Probably one of those old senior citizen drivers that park by ear

the okanagan is full of them

If they hear something scraping/crunching - they use that as a signal to shift from drive to reverse

"who could do a hit and run"

this sorta happened today here at work. I saw this lady pull into a parking spot and totally ram into another cars right rear quarter panel, scraping and pushing it in. she continued to drive forward after hitting it, and then decided to back out and move to another spot. needless to say i was like and waited for her to get out and made sure she left a note. of course she made a bee line for the building and didnt leave a note so I yelled at her and said if she didnt leave a note I would, and so she did. i left a note on the car as well in case the bitch denies it or gives her a hard time or something. stupid *** people.

yeah sure, religion is all a scam. i'm sure you've checked out every religion with an open heart before you say something like that.

anyways, sorry about your car man. my car got keyed by someone a couple years back and it just sucks when people don't take responsibility for their actions.

I'm in the same boat. A guy in a '01 civic sandwiched my EG hatch between him and a Lexus SUV. He thought he was cool and backed up and booked it as i was checking if my passenger had any injuries. Got out of the car to find both of my bumpers gone, head and taillights pushed in, and the rear hatch smashed to hell. $6500 worth of damage . My fireball muffler caught his front bumper though. Knabbed the VIN off of the bumper and found his ***.

He claimed the accident happened in another city, he "rear ended an el camino, then the car he hit drove away. He then called up a buddy who works in a body shop and had it towed to his buddy's house and into the shop the next day."

Court date is pending....and so is his, he's facing a hit and run felony in california, insurance fraud felony, and a misdemenor for purgury...not to mention my $6500 repair fee. The guy works for the boarder patrol and is going to lose his job over the affair too. ******* owned

Always look at the brightside like you said. I fixed the hatch myself so it looks decent now and with the $6500.....K20A or B18C5 swap coming soon baby!
