I'm looking for fog lights that will fit the factory spot for them. Any suggestions on where to get them from and the best type and best price?

eBay has OEM and OEM lookalikes... those are the only ones worth getting IMO.

Philadd is right. They fit just like OEM and have all the wiring and switches. Good for only 55 bucks.

What year is that Accord, and is it 2 or 4 door?

That looks like a 01-02 coupe.

Anyway, if it's an '01 or '02, http://www.handa-accessories.com has OEM fog lights for $239 (MSRP = $329). (all prices are US$)

I wonder what the change was in the fog lights between ’98 to ’00, ’01 to ’05?

OEM fog light prices:
’98 to ’00: $194 for a sedan, and $126 for a coupe
’01 to ’05: $239 for both sedan and coupe

I bought some cheap *** OEM look-a-likes for the 94-97 off ebay, and I must say they're awesome!

It would have been nice to have the OEM stanleys, but oh well *throws rocks at fw190*

EDIT: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33709
something like this.

just search "accord fog", without quotation marks, of course.

98-00 coupe bumpers only had one opening (and not three), so the fog lights were bigger, rounder, and mounted in the center opening (only opening) of the bumper.

01-02 fogs (coupe) were mounted in the outside "grills", with a plastic piece to fill in the rest of the hole... And IMO, looked a hell of a lot better. Similar to these (plastic piece surrounding the fog light is shaped differently than shown.)

03-05 are smilar to 01-02 (at least the coupes are), but the plastic "filler" piece is shaped differently (to match the opening of the newer gen's bumper obviously). 03-05 sedans only have one opening, so they have different mounts and are shaped differently than the coupes.

(EDITED for pictures)
First 2 pics are linked to current eBay auctions, so I don't know how long they will work.

So, when looking at a 6th generation...

If the side mirror is fixed (not bendable), it's a '98 (this is easily visible from outside the car, there'll be a dark line down the base if it's bendable).

If the side mirror is bendable, but there's not the child seat tether holders in the back dash, it's a '99 (again, the child seat tether holders are easily visible from the outside, they are the big black things on the dash).

If there are child seat tether holders but the front grill has one opening, it's an '00.

If the grill has three openings, it's either an '01 or an '02. How can you easily tell an '01 and an '02 apart while outside of the car?

I myself haven't found a good way to distinguish an 01 from an 02. AFAIK, there were absolutely no differences between the two years. I've been wondering the same question for some time now...
